
Within walking distance of downtown is the University of Mississippi. What a beautiful campus! There are many lovely and distinctive buildings in a garden-like setting. The fountain below is in one of several wonderful common areas:

The grounds are filled with incredible trees. Yesterday we saw champion horses; the tree below is a champion tree (literally!). It is the largest specimen of its type in the state of Mississippi:

This would be a wonderful school to attend, and if you could get a job working here, Oxford would be a great place to live.
I have skimmed through the blog and I like what I see. I think the model approach to finding a place is very interesting. It reminds me of all the computer classes I've taken. I hope you find someplace great for our next home, but I just want you to know I'm still pulling for Columbus, although you'll be living in the house a lot longer than I will, so it's really up to you guys.

Nice blog...I know a guy that probably could have got you Kentucky Derby tickets. Maybe it is here somewhere, but it would be helpful for us followers to have a rough schedule of places and dates so we can keep up with you.
